Combined Inject Nvidia with the Web drivers, but only Inject Nvidia by itself or -x (safe mode) seem to work (nvd_disable=1 has the same gIOLockState result) and both of them run unaccelerated with overlay glitches and unusably slow apps. Yesterday NVIDIA launched their first 290 series beta driver - this was intended to be the launch driver for the GTX 560-448, but QA kept it held up longer than expected. Hello guys,
firstly I want thank to tonymac and all team of this website/forum for their work. I have MacBook Pro and now I can have (and do have) OS X on my desktop and that's awesome. Many thanks again. But here is my problem: My desktop is 8 years old Intel Core 2 Duo 3 GHz, now with graphics card MSI GeForce GTX 560. OS X (10.11.2) works like a charm on it, no problems with USB, network, etc. I have recently installed Nvidia Web Drivers, but I don't know if OS X is using it or uses Default driver. I've set nvda_drv=1 but every time after computer restart in NVIDIA Driver Manager there is driver sets to OS X Default. Also I have to Inject Nvidia to be able to boot. Graphic performance is several times worse than was on Windows and even on Ubuntu. I know it will never be as good as on Windows, but this is too much, and like I said even on Ubuntu with proprietary drivers I've got more FPS and Photoshop runs smoothly under Wine (lol). Where can I find out what driver is actually used? Somewhere on this forum I've read that it's normal that NVIDIA Driver Manager still shows checked OS X Default driver but system uses those from Nvidia. So where's the truth, did someone have same problem, or is it even problem? Many thanks
Hey guys, i just have a quick question. I am wanting to upgrade my Nvida Gt 120 Graphics card to a Nvida Geforce Gtx 1050. I know i need to install new drivers. Will this card fit and work in my mac? I know i have to get more power. This card will be used for After Effects, Premier Pro and Final cut. I'll also use it for some games such as Rocket League and Gta V. Anyways thanks for reading.
